What Alternatives Are There To Google
Google is the most well-known search engine today. Its market share in many countries exceeds 80%. But who are its major opponents? What alternatives do you have to Google when you wish to search for details on the Internet. We'll explain the strengths and weaknesses of two alternative search engines. for an example.
Microsoft's Bing Search Engine
Microsoft's Bing search engine could be the most popular alternative to Google. Visually, they appear like each other. Both search engines give information on every result (a title, a description, and an actual link to the result). Some search engines also have a panel with facts and information on the right side of the navigation pane. Bing also offers vertical search engines that help you find certain types of content such as images, videos, news and more. They can appear in the main search engine results, and on separate pages. Google has been accused of displaying YouTube videos in prominent positions within video searches. However it hasn't been a problem for Bing. Bing is like Google in the sense that it analyzes the user's behaviour. This includes persistent information about the search queries they utilized and the results they clicked on. This allows Bing to display personalised ads directly within its search results. Bing also has the capability to display ads that are personalised within its Windows operating system.

Duckduckgo Search Engine
DuckDuckGo is a possible alternative to Google. When you start the search, DuckDuckGo will complete the search on behalf of you. DuckDuckGo will retrieve the results from Bing, and present them to you in your browser. Bing is not directly in contact with you when you search using this engine. Bing is not able to access private information like your IP address or location. DuckDuckDuckGo also allows ads to be displayed between its search results. However, it is not able to provide targeted ads because it doesn't gather information about users. If you search for "holidays", the engine will only return advertisements that are related to the phrase or search term you entered. Since it has taken the decision to not use any other information regarding the user, it isn't permitted to use that information. Bing, Google and other search engines are very similar in our opinion. The decision of whether you prefer one over the other is down to your personal tastes. DuckDuckGo is our favorite because it lets us remain completely anonymous.
